Our Practice
Dr. Howard S. Goldberg is a graduate of New York University School of Medicine, and completed his dermatology residency at Tufts University School of Medicine, where he was “Chief Resident” during his final year. Since 1971 Dr. Goldberg has practiced clinical dermatology with a specialty in reading and interpreting his own biopsy slides. Because Dr. Goldberg conducts all routine dermatopathology himself, he's able to ensure more accurate control of patient results. To diagnose more complicated cases, he consults with the Dermatopathology Section at Boston University School of Medicine, with whom he has a longstanding working relationship.
For more than 30 years, Dr. Goldberg has been a clinical instructor in dermatology at Tufts University School of Medicine. He is board certified in dermatology and dermatopathology and is an active member of the following dermatologic organizations: American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, American Laser, Medicine and Surgery Society, American Society of Dermatopathology and the New England Dermatologic Society.
The Cosmetic Dermatology and Aesthetic Laser Center Practice
Dr. Goldberg’s highly successful practice—just north of Boston in Swampscott, Massachusetts—is the most advanced medical, cosmetic dermatology and aesthetic laser center on the North Shore. Dr. Goldberg and his associate, Dr. Holly R. Mason, and their professional staff specialize in the ”rejuvenation of the aging skin” and have extensive experience treating the dermatological and cosmetic concerns of patients of all skin types, ethnicities and ages. Our techniques are state-of-the-art, and the practice administers only those treatments that produce dependable satisfying results. To best serve our patients, we do not offer treatments with inconsistent outcomes, no matter the current fads.
The professional staff in our office are all highly skilled and devoted to providing clients with individualized, respectful service, whether that means squeezing in an emergency case or making the extra effort to return all calls each day. "We're here to take care of you!" is not only our philosophy but also a mission we demonstrate each day.
