Rosacea, as the name implies, is a skin disease in which the central portion of the face is rose red in color. In addition to this red inflammatory component there may be papules (raised, red bumps), pustules and dilated fine blood vessels.

Treatments

At Dr. Goldberg’s practice, we treat rosacea based on its four components. The papules, pustules and red inflammation are treated with prescription antibiotics and creams. The dilated blood vessels are erased with our Candela Vbeam Perfecta® laser.
